Full of Stars
Oil on Canvas - 30" x 48" - January 2020
Though from a literal dream I had recently, these symbols are from a series of dreams and night terrors I've had my whole life.
I don't know but am almost convinced this is the vision of the final last days of a planet and its inhabitants.
Not ours.
The dark structures seem to represent death, but now I think that they might be more to take away anyone who encounters them.
Perhaps to or from another dimension...

Oil on Canvas - 2017
Tribute to the late Yaffa Cafe, NYC.
This is of a girlfriend I spent time with there in 1997
I frequented the downtown East Village Yaffa Café at 97 St Marks St. many times while attending The School of Visual Arts on 23rd St.
I wept to witness its departure in 2014. Another last of true bohemia in the United States.

***k The VCR!
Oil on Canvas - 2017
I was visiting Manhattan back in 2016...
and there was this homeless older guy in the NYC subway on Canal St Station
storming all over smashing VHS tapes into the ground, screaming "Fuck the VCR!"
I did this in effigy of his genius.

Ravenel Lane
Oil on Canvas - 2009
In Ravensworth Farm, a Northern Virginian suburb not far from D.C.
there was a nun I and my friends encountered who lived in a boarded up house
with a lawn growing over the fence.
She would wander around town asking everyone she met...
"Did you know Jesus loves you?"

In Her Hallway
Oil on Canvas - 2005
Many of the characters from my dreams are females luring you in...
or warning you, depending on something I've never been able to figure out.
The "Bone Cathedral" behind her is laden with flower carpeting and a mysterious train in a vast underground lair.
The red door appears almost as an after thought...

Possible Psychic Experience, Unexplained
Unknown Materials Probably Oil on canvas Unknown Date

The painting above "Warning," I did in 2005. The one here, I just discovered a few years or so ago. I am convinced they are the same vision, they are too similar for coincidence:

- same kind of red garb

- snow scene in a forest

- white birch trees

- girl with black hair

- black turtleneck

- both figures are looking at you, point of view style

Artists share unconscious public visions. I think it is some of the only real evidence of psychic phenomena we have in the world.

Midnight, December 25th 1993
Oil on Canvas - 28" x 36" 1996

Jenny and I would kiss deeply, and long. There was snow falling.

I looked up at the dark sky riddled with flakes, just dumping down. It was midnight December 25th, 1993.

Jenny, Rachel and I had decided to take a stroll into the night as we’d seen snow coming down from inside her warm cozy house in Chantilly, VA, lit aglow with yellows and crisp siennas from the roaring fire. I think there was a fireplace.
