I was visiting Manhattan back in 2016, and there was this homeless older guy in the NYC subway on Canal St Station, storming all over smashing VHS tapes into the ground, screaming "Fuck the VCR!" - I did this in effigy of his genius.
The painting above "Warning," I did in 2005. The one here, I just discovered a few years or so ago. I am convinced they are the same vision, they are too similar for coincidence:
- same kind of red garb
- snow scene in a forest
- white birch trees
- girl with black hair
- black turtleneck
- both figures are looking at you, point of view style
Artists share unconscious public visions. I think it is some of the only real evidence of psychic phenomena we have in the world.
