Abstract work. Dreams about windmills and turbines; this piece was done while I was struggling being away at school and my mom's illness. Has layers of loss, memory, and acclimation to city life just having moved to NYC.
The painting above "Warning," I did in 2005. The one here, I just discovered a few years or so ago. I am convinced they are the same vision, they are too similar for coincidence:
- same kind of red garb
- snow scene in a forest
- white birch trees
- girl with black hair
- black turtleneck
- both figures are looking at you, point of view style
Artists share unconscious public visions. I think it is some of the only real evidence of psychic phenomena we have in the world.
Jenny and I would kiss deeply, and long. There was snow falling.
I looked up at the dark sky riddled with flakes, just dumping down. It was midnight December 25th, 1993.
