Total Man
An iron will and absolute dedication.
Vision and totality.
The end of hobbies.
The end of the garage and the car.
The end of the work life, the sex life, the wife, and all those fumbling, half committed steps. The end of the casual. You will never stumble into the door of your own eyes again.
This is the beginning of your life.
Deep breaths, don't muddle through your lungs and paw at the juice out there, take it.
"There has never been an age where so many young people were as committed to being like their parents."
I have heard this said from one or more sources now and it has rung right to the top of my conscience every time.
This sad, prosaic fact--that we live in a place where half grown cowards are granted reign over the society we live in, their living rooms large coffins, the lazy-chair, the thrones they melt in.
The up shot to this is that they are only melting into softer and softer beings.
Their softening will mark the beginning of my triumph and all those willing to commit themselves to spiritual war against the hordes of mediocrity. I have made it my personal goal to send me to the stratosphere--and mediocrity to HELL!
So, to all those cowards who's dreams and burning desires cool in the office and seep into goo into the cushions of their condos:
Their is only a matter of days and weeks running down the drain of the momentum of history. The pendulum has reached it apex and is bound to swing with the same inertia as the last of you have gasped into its motor.
Think of the vortex within you and the larger mind.
Remember that you still touch things and life still exists for you. Remember that you are not living it in safety, but only in risk. Remember once again, ad perpetua--the commitment of your desires---is salvation.
"Bored with your life, risk it."
